Dear VPF Friends,

You’re Invited! Why does multisector dialogue matter in violence prevention?

Platforms like the Violence Prevention Forum (VPF) that enable dialogue and relationship building among a variety of stakeholders are increasingly needed to solve difficult problems. This is particularly true for South Africa, with its history of social isolation and mistrust between people of different races, class and political affiliation.

After nine years of multisectoral dialogue and collaboration, what lessons are there from the VPF process?

This online seminar discusses Institute for Security Studies’ (ISS) research findings and their application to other complex social issues. Drawing on three case studies, this webinar shares insights about facilitating dialogue and collaboration in South Africa.

Join this webinar on Zoom from 15:00 (GMT 2+) on the 4th of July, 2024.
