Resource: Global Outlook - Prospects for Children 2024: Cooperation in a Fragmented World
In 2024, the prospects of conflict and volatility in energy and food markets have increased, driven by escalating competition among world powers and threatening the rights, lives and well-being of children. The world stands at a pivotal juncture: It can choose a path of collaboration or a path that is less united and more protectionist, leaving countries to grapple alone with the consequences of climate change, conflict and resource constraints. The future of children around the world will hinge on the path the world chooses to take.
Read the latest edition of the UNICEF Global Outlook series, Prospects for Children 2024: Cooperation in a Fragmented World. |
