Opportunity: Request for Proposals: Development & Facilitation of Learning Platform
We are seeking consultant(s) to support the Early Childhood Regional Networks Fund to develop and facilitate a learning platform which will support cross-network engagement among the four early childhood networks supported by the Fund: the African Early Childhood Network (AfECN), the Asia- Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC), the European International Step by Step Association (ISSA), and the Arab Network for Early Childhood Development (ANECD). Deadline for submissions is the 30th of April 2023.

On 4 May End Corporal Punishment will hold a high-level international webinar to launch the report, explore the problem of school corporal punishment, and showcase solutions from around the world. We will be honoured to be joined by children, politicians, Ministers, and policy and practice experts from around the world. The report will explore how violent punishment in school remains lawful and common in many places, harming huge numbers of children and preventing them from accessing the opportunities of education. |

You are invited! Evidence and Policy: Exploring the WHO Parenting Intervention Guidelines to reduce child maltreatment and enhance parent-child relationships Webinar
Child maltreatment is a significant global public health issue, with parents and caregivers being the most common perpetrators. The WHO has recently released guidelines on parenting interventions to prevent maltreatment and enhance parent-child relationships for children aged 0-17 years. Backhaus for a webinar exploring the policy recommendations of the guidelines as well as the underlying evidence from 65 countries in every region of the world. This webinar will look beyond the question of whether parenting interventions are effective across different settings and subgroups. This webinar will take place on the 10th of May 2023. |
